Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to achieve a score of 10 in a competition at the Olympics. Comaneci was discovered by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics coach at the time she was just six years old. She took part in the Romanian Junior Games where she placed 13th. She won in 1970. In her very first international event in 1972 she came out on top with three gold medals. In her debut as a Senior in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva, the five-time European champ winning four gold medals and one silver. She was the first woman ever to perform the backwards double salto after dismounting from an unbalanced parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager, Carol Wayne began working in the entertainment field performing as a figure skater. Together with her younger twin brother Nina Wayne she was part of the traveling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her journey into the world of entertainment in her teens. She started her career performing figure skating along with Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment programs Ice Capades. These shows included skaters who were performed to music from the stage.
