Katherine Heigl reveals with the world regarding her "white bubble childhood" and how it's influenced how she raises her adopted multiracial children. In an interview with the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy" actress shared her looks didn't bother her. But after having a conversation with her adoptive sister in South Korea about how society treated them, she became aware of how much different they were. "I inquired of my sister, Meg to tell me if she'd been treated in one manner when she went walking around with our parents, and another way in the time she was by herself without them. Meg said, 'Oh yes, I've seen everything!' Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had caused me to feel." According to the actress, she was furious. However, she wanted to channel that anger towards helping the girls she adopted. Heigl and her 13-year-old husband -- singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. The couple's daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl adopted in the year 2012.
